For the target group of immobile individuals in the fourth age, there are still too few offerings. Typically, other groups, such as mobile older adults, receive significantly more attention in elder care. Different approaches are gradually being developed for this demographic. Motogeragogy, originally offered primarily for vital, fit older individuals, was later extended to include the group of immobile individuals in the fourth age. This approach has since established itself due to its comprehensive theoretical foundations and practical application. The same applies to the Snoezelen approach, which was also originally designed for a different group, namely individuals with (severe) disabilities. Through various means, the target group of older adults, including immobile individuals in the fourth age, has been reached.
