In recent years, the innovation of business models has gained significant attention in both theory and practice. Business models are oriented towards customer needs, combine different elements of a company, and thus create customer value. Business models are often more difficult to imitate than products, services, or processes, allowing companies to achieve better differentiation from competitors. This dissertation focuses on the development of a method for business model innovation. Additionally, the development of generic business models for the business-to-business sector is also addressed.
