The concept of resilience has been gaining importance in educator training and practice in recent years, not least due to the initiative of Klaus Fröhlich-Gildhoff, who introduced the term as one of the pioneers in Germany. Now, the author and his team shed light on the promotion of resilience in kindergartens and nurseries. The authors provide a practical and directly applicable concept for fostering resilience. They demonstrate how the resilience capacity of children can be enhanced, enabling them to cope with crises and strengthen group cohesion.
