'Coming to Terms' offers a secular alternative to the Camino de Santiago and similar routes. It is a guide for a walking journey through Notranjska (Inner Carniola) and Primorska (Coastal Region) in southwestern Slovenia, as well as through the Italian Carso Triestino in the hinterland of Trieste. The approximately two-week tour begins at the main train station in Ljubljana, branches into a northern and southern passage near Postojna, and ends optionally in the old town of Koper or in the center of Trieste. The route connects some of Slovenia's most beautiful natural landscapes, including previously undiscovered areas. Highlights include the Ljubljansko Barje Regional Park, the remote Menisija, the famous Lake Cerknica, the dramatic gorge landscape of Rakov Škocjan, the tranquil forests of the Javorniki, the idyllic pastures of Vremscica, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Skocjanske Jame Park.
