Football is considered one of the leading sports worldwide. This sport connects various nations and religions. Given that the new EU countries play an important role in sports and football, the topic of "coaching" is also examined in detail. How was training conducted in the Socialist Bloc in the past? What were the training methods then and now? Are there similarities and differences between Western and Eastern Europe? This book addresses all these questions, and the topic of "football coaching education" is explored in detail through the perspectives of two representatives from Western Europe (Germany) and Eastern Europe (Bulgaria).
