Product details
Andreas Baader grows up without a father, raised by his mother, aunt, and grandmother. Early on, despite his mother's desperate efforts, he shows signs of academic problems and professional failure. Baader falls into crime and enjoys mingling with the shady elite of Munich, only to experience a surge of political awakening in Berlin. His transformation from rebel to revolutionary is marked by his involvement with Kommune 1 and the department store arson in 1968. With the founding of the leftist revolutionary Red Army Faction (RAF), he becomes Public Enemy Number 1.
