Gossip reporter Sophie Sturm is asked for a favor by her acquaintance Laura Crown. The actress is working with moderate success in Hollywood and wants to return to Germany. For a successful comeback, she needs publicity. An appearance on the popular celebrity cooking show "Dinnerparty" is already planned, and Sophie is supposed to write the fitting homestory for the Hamburg glossy magazine "Stars & Style." During the recording of the show on Fehmarn, a catastrophe occurs: At the first sip of wine with the main course, the host collapses dead.
