In the vineyard of wine merchant Lothar Kaltenbach's uncle at Kaiserstuhl, an unidentified dead body is found. The next day, Kaltenbach's friend Walter disappears without a trace. When he learns that a recently released former RAF member and friend of Walter has returned, Kaltenbach begins his investigation. The clues lead him deep into his own past from the 1970s. Do the entanglements from back then also have something to do with the murders of today?.
