Just before the oldest fair in Hohenlohe opens its doors in the quaint village of Musdorf, the innkeeper Erika Böckler is found dead in the Seebach on a cold October morning. It quickly becomes clear that the victim had attempted to sabotage her competition shortly before her death. The restaurateur has also made many enemies in her private life. For the investigative team of Lisa Luft and Heiko Wüst, the frantic search for the murderer begins amidst aprons, marriage-crazy young farmers, and butcher's platters.
