Angelika lives in Sigmaringen and travels to Paris to research Amalie Zephyrine von Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen. This princess has a lot to thank the small region of Hohenzollern, located between Württemberg and Baden, as she had direct access to power through her friendship with Napoléon's wife, Joséphine. Both friends had experienced the horrors of the French Revolution firsthand. However, Sigmaringen is also the place where the Vichy government was brought after the liberation of Paris.
