He is honing his acting skills in a community theater group and is also visiting various restaurants in Vienna to gather material for his restaurant reviews, which he writes for the new WienKulinarisch guide. When Palinski meets his publisher, Franz Ferdinand Lehberger, at Desiree, a scandal unfolds: A guest collapses and dies after eating a portion of poppy seed noodles.
