It appears that the man, confined to a wheelchair, succumbed to heart failure while eating a "Frutti di Mare" pizza. The pizza delivery man, Lorenzo Bertollini, is quickly located. Things do not look good for him when a mysterious vial is discovered in his jacket pocket. However, then the politician Nora Bender-Nicerec, who has gained dubious fame in Vienna as the "Iron Broom," is found dead, and criminologist Mario Palinski discovers that the two cases are connected.
