A series of burglaries has the community of Otzberg on edge. Commissioner Roland Otto and his colleague Brenneisen are in the dark. Lore Kukuk plays the decoy and quickly finds herself in the crosshairs of ruthless smugglers. As if she didn't already have enough to deal with, including a bee infestation and a questionable relative who has moved in with her. During their joint investigations, Otto and Lore grow closer. Until Lore takes matters into her own hands to seek justice, with the help of a treacherous mushroom and the highly toxic silver rain that blooms on the neighboring property.
