In broad daylight, ten-year-old Michelle is abducted in Düsseldorf. Shortly thereafter, the girl is found dead in the Düssel. Everything points to the murderer being involved in the child pornography scene, but the investigations by Commissioner Hagen Brandt and his colleague Teichert yield no results. Until another girl goes missing and the perpetrator is accidentally caught. However, time is working against Brandt and his team, as the kidnapper refuses to cooperate and no one knows where he is hiding the little girl.
