In the middle of the night, LKA investigators Sandra Mohr and Sascha Bergmann are called to Pöllau in eastern Styria. A couple and their eleven-year-old son have been found shot dead in their home. What initially appears to be an extended suicide soon reveals itself to be a mysterious murder case, with the only surviving 13-year-old daughter becoming a key witness. However, capturing the perpetrator proves to be more complicated than expected. Sandra Mohr's personal life also threatens to push her to her limits.
