Jim has been in a wheelchair since a car accident. He guards the secret surrounding the death of his son Tommy, whose body was found far from the accident site. To cope with the loss of the teenager, Jim pours all his energy into building a massive monument that Tommy had sketched in his notebook. The design seems to be inspired by a video game that his son was apparently obsessed with. Mia, Tommy's girlfriend, knows more about it than she has revealed so far. She shows Jim the game in question. In search of answers, Jim enters this virtual world as a bear and encounters talking plants, ferrets, and snowmen, as well as rumors about God. He increasingly becomes immersed in this illusionary world full of puzzles. How can one possibly continue to live in the face of losing their most beloved person?.
