Whether in the Sermon on the Mount, the Lord's Prayer, or the Book of Revelation - many of Jesus' words are, for Christians, the proverbial book with seven seals. They are often misunderstood and misinterpreted. This can have dramatic effects on our perception of God and our identity as believers. Greg Riether aims to help us see the teachings of Jesus in the light of the new covenant and to understand what the Lord truly wanted to say and achieve. His intention was to free people from the old system of the law and to lead them into the new system of the Spirit, the new covenant.
