Product details

Heyder Cengi, a Turkish man of Alevi faith, is residing illegally in Germany. One day, he comes under the control of the employment office, leading to a scuffle in which an officer dies. Meanwhile, lawyer Peter Schlüter is asked to prevent the extradition of Emin Gül to the Turkish judiciary. Gül has been convicted in his home country for being partly responsible for the deaths of 37 people. A miscarriage of justice, says Gül's uncle. Schlüter takes on the case, but when he is also confronted with the case of Heyder Cengi, he finds himself in a moral dilemma. A genocide committed decades ago continues to have repercussions today.
