As a supplement to the twenty-volume edition of Grillparzer's works, the poet's letters and diaries are being published here for the first time in chronological order. These letters and diaries of Franz Grillparzer, an addition to his works, are an unaltered, high-quality reprint of the original edition from 1900. The present first volume contains the letters. The Publishing House of Sciences publishes historical literature by well-known and lesser-known scholarly authors, thereby making works that have long been out of print accessible to interested readers once again.
