Abstract: This paper uses the Gallup study as a starting point for the problem statement. It describes Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory, the Job Characteristics Model, the VIE Theory, Goal Setting Theory, Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, and Spiral Dynamics - a model of human development. Subsequently, the practical applicability is examined and discussed.
