Abstract: An increasing number of professional journals and books are discussing the ever-relevant topic of narcissism. Narcissism, known in the literature as narcissistic personality disorder, is a mental illness. The brief treatment in the seminar "Mental Illnesses and Rehabilitation" and the reading of various articles in professional journals on this topic led to an intensive engagement with narcissistic personality disorder. Initially, various terms are defined and differentiated to provide a general overview of narcissism. It clarifies the extent to which healthy and pathological narcissism can be distinguished from one another.
