Abstract: The Egloffstein Palace stands out in the ensemble of baroque residential houses on Friedrichstrasse with its rear building located at Southern City Wall Street 28. Today, it catches the viewer's eye compared to the adjacent houses due to its unplastered ashlar construction in sandstone and its size. The construction order for the building was given by Carl Maximilian Baron von Egloffstein in 1718. The rooms of the baroque palace, which were only briefly inhabited by the noble family of Egloffstein, have since served many purposes. Today, the premises are available for the adult education center.
