However, hardly anyone knows that there is a professional practice of the game that rivals some sports. Organized under the German Tipp-Kick Association (DTKV), there is a four-tiered and multi-track league structure, numerous individual tournaments, and much more. The book addresses the question of whether Tipp-Kick should be recognized as a sport. But before clarifying this question, it introduces the reader to the history of Tipp-Kick and the DTKV, describes the structure of the association, and the types of game operations.
