Abstract: In this paper titled "The Importance of a Healthy Lifestyle in Childhood and Adolescence," I primarily focus on two lifestyle factors that can significantly influence the health of children and adolescents in our society. These are nutrition and physical activity, which are related to physical health. In this work, I aim to illustrate the significance of a balanced and wholesome diet for the health of young people during childhood and adolescence, as well as its lasting impact on their later life in adulthood. An overview of a wholesome diet is provided by the ten rules of the German Nutrition Society that I initially present.
