Schule und Erziehung im Nationalsozialismus
German, Thomas Fey, 2007Product details
Study paper from 1998 in the field of Education - History of Education, grade: 2.0, University of Koblenz-Landau, course: Seminar: Development of the School System, language: German. Abstract: "Whoever has the youth has the future." This motto guided the actions of National Socialism and its pedagogy. The youth were quickly appropriated by it, which was partly due to the lack of prospects caused by mass unemployment and economic recession, as well as massive propaganda from the Hitler regime. The pedagogy of National Socialism aimed to create uncritical followers and to promote the training of a political National Socialist elite. In the field of education, the school became the most important executing organ of National Socialism, where the German Aryan race was to be nurtured.
