Study paper from 2009 in the field of law - legal philosophy, legal sociology, legal history, grade: 1, Johannes Kepler University Linz, language: German. Abstract: The establishment of the League of Nations after World War I is considered a revolution in the field of international relations. Its goals, and especially the obligations for member states, created a completely new relationship in international politics after the First World War. When the Americans entered World War I, they emphasized that one of their main concerns was future peacekeeping. The greatest proponent of this idea was US President Woodrow Wilson, who laid the groundwork for a post-war order with his considerations even during the war. Accordingly, the USA endeavored to ensure international peace after the end of the world war.
