Study paper from 2016 in the field of Social Education / Social Work, grade: 1.0, course: Training to become a state-recognized educator, language: German. Abstract: What opportunities exist to promote the integration of unaccompanied minor refugees as an educator? This research question forms the basis of my paper. The theoretical engagement with the topic provides the foundation for pedagogical integration work. First, I defined the key terms "unaccompanied minor refugees" and "integration." Then, I address the reasons for the youths' flight, which are very diverse, and I also discuss the respective countries of origin of the youths. The course of work with these youths is determined by legal regulations, which I will address in the next section.
