It is aimed at anyone who wants to learn German and improve their pronunciation, as well as teachers of German as a foreign language (DaF) and German as a second language (DaZ), serving as a guide and theoretical introduction to the field of phonetics. The text and exercise book is not only suitable as a supplement in lessons for all learning levels but is also very well suited for individual pronunciation training and self-study with its accompanying audio material. The second edition has been updated in content and supplemented with additional exercises, a sound chart, and a glossary of phonetic terminology. All exercises are available on two MP3 CDs or alternatively on six audio CDs.
