Why do we believe that we owe justice obligations only to our fellow citizens and not to people in other regions of the world? While theories of justice have mostly been developed for the national context, this book proposes a concept for the global space. The author demonstrates that questions of justice arise wherever people are connected through practices of structural dominance – this can also be the case in places where political institutions do not yet exist or no longer exist.
