The "Celler Model" is a course for leaders of hospice and community groups who want to recruit volunteers to assist in the care of the seriously ill and dying, and to prepare them thoroughly for their commitment. Based on years of practical experience, it has now been thoroughly revised: the texts are more contemporary, and the exercises are explained more clearly, with a greater focus on the family, while also taking into account the changes in the hospice landscape and volunteerism. The course is designed as a theologically open model with a Christian influence. Its integrative concept creates a common approach for supporting both children and adolescents as well as adults within a single course. Old exercises have been adapted, and new ones have been added. Perspective shifts make systemic thinking and action approaches visible.
