An important aspect of Buber's life work was his engagement with political and social issues. At the intersection of community and state ideas, between anarchy and socialism, he consistently sought to translate dialogical thinking into the realm of politics. At the same time, he proved to be a keen critic of contemporary political movements. His works range from concise interventions in current affairs to extensive theoretical treatises such as "Paths in Utopia." In addition to the texts published during his lifetime, previously unpublished archival materials are presented here for the first time.
