Not coincidentally, theological reflection on good and evil has repeatedly begun with the first chapters of Genesis to this day. They are deliberately designed as the beginning of the Torah and aim to tell about the beginning itself - the beginning of humanity and, within it, the beginning of good and evil. Texts that are so central are often theologically burdened with interests and prejudices. This study aims to free the biblical texts from dogmatic baggage and to articulate their unique contribution to the still pressing question of good and evil.
