Narinder Dhami is the author of "Starring Alice Mackenzie," published by Harpercollins and a runner-up for the TSB Birmingham Children's Book Award in 1996. She is also a co-author of several bestselling series, including "The Sleepover Club," "Animal Ark Pets," and "Animal Crackers." Until 1990, she was a primary school teacher before she began writing full-time. She lives in Cambridge with her husband.
