Cherub agents are highly trained, extremely talented – and all under the age of seventeen. For official purposes, these agents do not exist. They are sent on missions to spy on terrorists, hack into important documents, and gather information on global threats – all without gadgets or weapons. It’s an extremely dangerous job, but these agents have a crucial advantage: adults never suspect that teenagers are spying on them.

In Maximum Security, James' latest mission takes him to the sun-baked desert prison of Arizona Max, which houses 280 juvenile criminals. One of them is the son of an arms dealer who sells U.S. missiles to terrorists. If James can get to the boy, Cherub has a chance to stop the father. Getting into the prison is easy. The escape is the hard part.
