Product details
132 historical documents, photos, and postcards from 1945 to 1990 are presented in this illustrated book on the history of Halberstadt during the GDR period. This time, not only photographs and documents from the author's personal archive were included, but also contributions from several residents of Halberstadt, including Sigrid Nage, Helmut Wilke, Thilo Eulenburg, Heinz Erich Gustus, Rolf Hermann, and Jörg Wenske. They were able to provide important insights into these images. The majority of these documents and photos have not been published before. They illustrate how life in Halberstadt unfolded from 1945 to 1990. Take the time to indulge in memories while viewing the pictures.
