The manual is primarily intended for practitioners; they will find advice and information on the treatment of goods in the bath, as well as before and after galvanizing. Therefore, grinding and polishing methods, along with the commonly used machines and materials for these processes, have also been discussed. Furthermore, we have not only focused on the formulas for baths used for deposition with the help of electricity, but also included those suitable for contact galvanization and immersion processes, as well as reliable methods for coloring (patinating, oxidizing) metals. Although the historical development and theory of galvanic processes, as well as the fundamental phenomena and laws, have been briefly mentioned, we have been guided by the conviction that many practitioners wish to gain clarity on these basics in order to utilize this knowledge effectively.
