Communication guerrilla undermines the obviousness and supposed naturalness of the prevailing order. Its potential subversiveness lies primarily in questioning the legitimacy of power, thereby reopening the space for utopias. Its project is to critique the unquestionability of the existing; it aims to transform closed discourses into open situations where, through a moment of confusion, what is taken for granted suddenly comes into question. As communication guerrillas, we welcome every action that subverts, undermines, mocks, and demonstrates that life can be entirely different from what is accepted. This can take the form of clever fakes, well-placed pies, or even a finely staged invisible theater piece. Our focus is not on truth.
