Gustav Kreitner accompanied the Asia expedition of Count Bela Széchenyi as a geographer. In his two-part work, he vividly recounts the journey, discoveries, and explorations, as well as the land and people in the regions visited. In the second part presented here, he describes, among other things, the expedition's visits to various regions of China, Tibet, and Burma. The book is complemented by numerous illustrations. This is a reprint of the long-out-of-print original edition from 1881.
