Who are we? Where do we come from? When 12-year-old Hans-Thomas sets out with his father to search for his mother Anita, he mysteriously comes into possession of a tiny book. It holds a great secret and presents him with riddles. However, the wonder about the world and the incredible things that are possible within it is the beginning of every philosophical inquiry. This is the story of a triple journey: a real one to Greece, a fantastic one to an island where a card game mysteriously comes to life, and a mental journey into philosophy.
