Contributions to Historical Anthropology

Summary:
The author inquires about a science of humanity, a complex anthropology. He does not limit himself to questioning from the traditionally separate and often divergent perspectives of religion, natural sciences, and humanities, but seeks the connection between the three paths of knowledge. Historical anthropology is therefore seen not as a branch of anthropology, but as a whole.

About the Author:
Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker, born in 1912, was a professor at the universities of Strasbourg, Göttingen, and Hamburg, and from 1970 to 1980 served as director at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of the Conditions of Life in the Scientific-Technical World. He passed away in April 2007 in Söcking near Lake Starnberg.
