The Handbook of Manufacturing Technology is the second, completely revised edition of the multi-volume work published by Carl Hanser Verlag from 1979 to 1994. It remains an unmatched reference work for manufacturing engineers in terms of its breadth and depth of topics. This tradition continues in the new edition. The volume on Primary Forming consists of two parts: Primary Forming of Metallic Materials and Primary Forming of Plastics. Each part covers the most relevant manufacturing processes in the industry.
