Sofie's family consists of enthusiastic flutists, but because she is the youngest, she is only allowed to play the smallest flute. However, Sofie is incredibly talented! Even as a baby, she could make music, and by the age of four, she could play a sonata by ear. Yet, no one takes her seriously. When Sofie discovers a giant flute on a mountain vacation, it becomes clear which musical instrument she wants to learn: the alphorn. From then on, she secretly practices with Alois to surprise her family with a spectacular solo.
