Luisa's workplace is located deep underground. She works in a visitor mine in the Schlematal valley in the Ore Mountains, and although she spends some days without a single ray of sunshine, she can't imagine a more beautiful job. As far back as she can remember, her ancestors have worked in mining. The family history is filled with hope and the awareness that every moment together must be cherished, as many have not returned from the mine. When Luisa decides to investigate the disappearance of her great-uncle decades ago, many things that have been hidden for far too long come to the surface. It is the longing for light that ultimately brings peace back to the family.
