Frances Hodgson Burnett was a born storyteller. From a young age, her greatest pleasure was inventing stories and acting them out with her dolls. She wrote over forty books, including the classic "The Secret Garden," which was also illustrated by Tasha Tudor.

Tasha Tudor's detailed, delicate illustrations have been cherished by millions of readers. She illustrated nearly one hundred books and received numerous awards and honors, including two Caldecott Honors.
