The book is aimed at those who are already familiar with the introductory lessons of Modern Hebrew and now wish to acquire the grammatical foundation for it. However, the work is neither a complete grammar nor a textbook; it is limited to conveying basic knowledge. The focus is on the description of the Modern Hebrew verb: roots, tenses, binyanim, irregularities, and word formation. Furthermore, starting from the central theme of the verb, additional grammatical issues of Hebrew that arise in connection with the verb are examined. Care is taken to use and explain the corresponding grammatical terminology of Hebrew. Thus, the book leads step by step to independent and successful engagement with grammars, dictionaries, and verb tables.
