Class 3a is not entirely innocent of its bad reputation: Children from the class are involved in almost everything that happens at school. So it's no surprise that they want to greet their new teacher, Ms. Besenbinder, with a proper soaking. But the newcomer reacts quite differently than expected: She is quick-witted, has a sense of humor, and even defends the class against the unpopular janitor shortly thereafter. Finally, the children have someone who stands by them! And this is important because during their robbery project week, 3a is accused of stealing apples from the janitor's garden. Only if they can prove their innocence will the students be allowed to spend a night of robbers at school. Fortunately, the children of 3a are not only cheeky but also clever. With Ms. Besenbinder's help, they ultimately manage to bring the truth to light.
