13-year-old Finn has had a bad feeling about the whole situation from the start: he is on lookout while his friends Benny and Kurt steal handbags from elderly ladies at the cemetery. Things get really tense for him when the Asperger's autistic Mia witnesses one of these thefts - Mia, who simply cannot understand that a white lie is sometimes the best solution, and who dares to testify against Finn and his friends in court. To make matters worse, Finn, whose father has been dating Mia's mother for some time, will also have to live in the same house as Mia in the future. Torn between revenge plans primarily driven by his friends and his compassion for the 12-year-old, Finn is under increasing pressure. It is only when Benny and Kurt kidnap Mia's cat, the only being allowed to be close to her, that Finn finally realizes what he must do.
