Der Fall Schinagl
German, Thomas Buchner, 2016Product details
Murder in the Corporate State: A Time Travel to Linz Between the Wars. A corpse in the courtyard of the Dollfuss School in Linz, 1935: The janitor discovers a body in the courtyard of the Dollfuss School. The deceased has been shot, but there are hardly any traces, and the identity of the victim is unknown. No one seems to be missing either. However, suspicion soon arises that it could be a politically motivated murder - there are indications that the deceased might be Karl Schinagl, a former leader of the Social Democratic Schutzbund. The problem is: Schinagl should actually be in prison. District Inspector Steininger under pressure: District Inspector Josef Steininger prefers a quiet life. He enjoys good food, time with family, and order in the community building. The fact that he must solve this delicate murder case at the request of the police chief puts him in a difficult position.
