Provincial journalist Gucki Wurm and her heavy-drinking dog Turrini are investigating again. Gudrun Wurm - known as Gucki to her friends - reluctantly leaves her desk at the Mühlviertler Nachrichten to finally take her remaining vacation days. For Gucki, vacation means boredom, so it’s quite convenient that on her last working day, she witnesses a murder: someone has stabbed a Slovakian caregiver with a Nordic walking pole. Amidst lawn mower tractor races, tarock evenings, tent festivals, and Harley-Davidson meetups, Gucki investigates, always accompanied by her loyal and beer-loving dog Turrini.
