Hear and Read Guitar. Inkl. CD
German, Joachim Vogel, 1995Product details
After his publications on jazz guitar, the author Joachim Vogel, a graduate of the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT) in California and a professional guitarist, has written a book on ear training. In this book, the author has selected exercises from his musical background in jazz, rock, and funk. "A good guitarist hears what he plays before he plays it" is the motto of this book, and accordingly, the chapters are divided into two parts: exercises for "Listening" and exercises for "Reading." Both areas include theory and practice, which complement each other. The book consists of a total of 13 levels, with the 13th chapter being the "Top Level." In the first four levels, the exercises can be sung, visualized, and played.
